Made from Handmade Recycled Products (HRP), these bags are durable and waterproof. The bag features one center compartment, a cell phone pocket, leather trim and shoulder straps, and a zippered closure. It is available in your choice of an Indian Ocean (Blue stripe motif), Mother of Pearl (Pastel motif), Religion (bright multi-color), Strawberry (Stripe with Strawberry accent). The nature of the material makes each piece unique, so colors and patterns will vary. Each color has touches of other colors in it. ).
HRP is the outcome of an endeavor to help clean up the urban environment while providing income for the urban poor of India. HRP is a renewed innovative material created from recycling plastics, chiefly, disposable bags, which are infamous for the environmental problems that they create for humans and animals alike. It uses a fraction of the energy compared to the conventional recycling process; does NOT involve the use of any colors or dyes, offers a potential to convert the biggest problem of waste plastic bags into an opportunity for sustainable employment, and provides income for the poor.
