Add a touch of old world charm to your decor with this Oriental hexagonal plant stand.
Standing 20 inches tall the piece is modeled after a Ming dynasty style 6-legged display stand. Handcrafted by artisans in Guangdong province in mainland China, the piece employs classic Chinese mortise and tenon floating panel joinery. The six sides of the apron are carved through in geometric design. The piece is topped off with a rich matte walnut finish.
The Story Behind the Product
This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Attending strictly to the local and international anti-dumping and fair trade practice laws, Oriental Homes is proud to bring a piece of their culture into your home.

Product was as represented although we would have preferred about 24" high. The 28" version would have been too high. Cannot rate for durability as we have had them only about 10 days. They look great in the DR with Japanese pots with plants in them.

Loved the detail and the material of the piece. However- it looks like a miniture/child's furniture. it is rather small but fits the one plant i needed a home for.

Nice little plant stand. Well constructed, Nice attention to detail. I would only use it for a light, small plant though as it is quite small. It did come very well packaged and without one blemish!
