This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. The table is absolutely beautiful. The paintings are gorgeous. However, it was not as big as I expected and there was a tiny scratch on one of the legs. It was also a little pricey for the size.

This comes fully assembled and I love how it looked. I used as a plant stand & it is lovely. There were a few places where the lacquer was chipped but Customer Service was awesome. Sent me a replacement with a return slip. The only inconvenienc was taking a huge box to UPS!

This is a great, inexpensive pedestal I've got in my entry-way for keys, mail, etc. It's a great height, comes fully assembled and has vivid colors. The only negative is that it is clearly not an authentic Asian piece. The flowers and bird motifs are a little more juvenile than what you can tell when purchasing from the site. I was hoping for something that looked more authentically Asian but it's fine for the value.
