Standing 28 inches tall the piece is modeled after a Ming dynasty style 6 legged display stand. Handcrafted by artisans in Guangdong province in mainland China, the piece employs classic Chinese mortise and tenon floating panel joinery. The six sides of the apron are carved through in geometric design. The piece is topped off with a rich matte walnut finish.

This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. I love this plant stand. It brings out the black accents in my family room. It looks expensive. It is sturdy and is now holding a pretty good size plant on it. I like the height and was happy that I had the choice between 3 different heights when I ordered. I have been looking for just this item, and was unable to find it anywhere else.

I needed to find a durable and attractive plant stand for my office. This table does the trick! A little bonsai tree sits atop the table and the design of the stand lends to a restful and "zen" area. The table was packed really well and was delivered when it was supposed to be. I would recommend this product.
