Chinese ceramic stools date back to the Ming dynasty. Our garden stools are 100-percent handmade by high fire process. The color of glaze will not fade or change. They function as an extra seat, foot rest, small table, plant stand, cocktail table, etc. Made in Jingdezhen (Jingde Town). It has been termed the 'Porcelain Capital' because of its production of quality china. It has a 1700-year-old history of china production. There are thousands of workshops in Jingdezhen, generation after generation.

I just love this design and you can use it for so many things from end table to seat to plant holder. Inside/outside.......so took the plunge and I am very pleased. The color is more gold than mustard but still appealing. IT IS HEAVY! A tiny bit smaller than others I have seen but well constructed. Good purchase.
I like the garden stool a lot. I bought it for my recently remodeled contempory bathroom, which has an Asian look. It's bright gold, not mustard and a bit garish. I'm going to put a rust or burnt amber glaze on it to drab it down a bit. I think it adds a lot of interest.

I saw this exact item in a design store, and they were charging $426. I think this yellow will be lovely with the garden greens, but since it's spending the winter in the basement, I don't know how it will hold up against the seasons yet. It didn't come with any info at all as to whether it can withstand freezing, so I'm going to play it safe and move it indoors in winter. It has a nice slightly iridescent sheen to the glaze and is solid and heavy. I love it and I love how much money I saved getting it at Overstock. The best things in my yard have come from here.

The stool I received is an orange gold metallic ... the color of the sunset. I bought two, one in the brighter green and, I prefer the clear glaze to the metallic. However, I am pleased with the look of this in an earthtone bath, with an ocean sunset theme ... stunning.

I bought this stool to use as extra seating and to fill an empty corner. It does the job! The color is actually more of a gold then a mustard, which works well for me. I have received lots of complements on it.
