The second!!! I put this on around my shoulders, I itched like crazy!!!!!!!!!!! It is so scratchy, could never be comfortable!
True colors, light, sheer scarf, excellent for the chilly San Francisco summer, late spring and early fall in NYC. Fits best over khaki jackets and pants. Folded in a tight rolls fits in a medium-sized handbag. The pattern aspires to modern art, but doesn't quite make it; at the same time, it is nowhere near the gorgeous traditional Indian designs, and it is unmistakably machine-made. Still, a nice serviceable shawl for everyday use.
very nice colors, like the ones in the pic. it is a bit sheer in the midlle but you can see that in the pic.

Gorgeous! Service outstanding. I would recommend this to everyone. It was a gift, but I was tempted to keep it for myself!
I bought this shawl as a gift. The color in the picture is not a very accurate representation of what it looks like in real life. The picture is much more vibrant (which is part of what drew me to the shawl in the first place). In actuality, the colors are a bit more muted...the red is a bit more rust color and the contrast between the red and orange is not as stark. Also, the fabric is a bit sheer, so the color of whatever you're wearing shows through a bit. The shawl is a very good size...when wrapped around my shoulders, the bottom comes down the small of my back. Perfect for covering your shoulders for an evening affair. The fabric was not a soft as I expected...that may be characteristic of merino wool though.Although it was not exactly as I expected, I still think the shawl is very pretty, has good detail, and makes an excellent present.
