Story Behind the Product:

Although there are some women entering into this craft, Moroccan pottery it is an art form that is predominantly composed of male artisans. The artisans range in age from teenagers to men in their late 60's. Clay is softened by hand, and formed using a potter's wheel which is powered by foot, using age old techniques. Pieces are dried in the sun then baked in kilns that are over 200 years old.
