The photo of these tables makes them look like they are finished furniture. They are not, they are raw wood which is does not have a nice even grain as the picture depicts. The color is yellowish-grey and rather mottled.
I tried a couple of different stains (on the bottom of one of them) that I thought would make them a closer match for the rest of our wood furniture, but the colors are kind of off due to the basic color of the wood. None of the color swatches at the home store include mango-wood, so I guess that I'll have to keep working on that. I bought them to replace a plant stand, so large areas of the wood are not visible anyway and they are working fine for that purpose, but I do hope to find a finish sealer to avoid possible water staining that still looks o.k.
Other than the finish/wood color, the tables seem to be very sturdy and well constructed. I would recommend them IF you keep the above issues in mind.
