Ricardo Hinojosa: 'I've always loved to design, even as a kid. I have a little workshop and I've developed an artistic sensibility for contemporary fashion trends, which I transmit through my designs. I have gathered a team of artists, experts in the field, and together we share old and new techniques while working. I start by selecting the type of leather, either cow, goat or pigskin. Once I have settled on a particular design, I cut the leather as desired, and then proceed to sew it into shape. Sometimes I include a firm middle lining to help preserve the shape. I add the straps, zipper or button closure, and all the brass fixtures are made in Mexico. I combine tradition and vanguard in my designs, creating practical accessories that are proudly made by Mexican hands.'

This bag caught my attention immediately because of its unique design and detail. The color of the leather does differ slightly from the photo, I didn't find this a problem. The leather is rich, smooth brown, studs decorating the front, flap and pockets. The bottom of the bag is complemented by five studs, one at each corner, a center stud for the balance.This bag can be used as a briefcase, there's enough room for a 15" laptop and accessories. Alternatively, simply as a stylish tote when you're out and about. The two outer pockets on the front are roomy and secure. There a rear slit in the rear of the bag, forming a roomy pocket large enough to accommodate folders, or files. The fold over flap has a unique strap and buckle design adding security to the design. Lifting up the strap you open the bag by pressing Ina locking tab. Once this tab is opened, you will find a zipper which opens the bags' main compartment. The inner compartment is fully lined, containing a zipper pocket on the rear wall and two slit top compartments on the front wall. The shoulder straps are 1" wide and 24.4" in length. These straps are a comfortable fit for shoulder carry. I highly recommend this bag.
