Story Behind the Art:

'I was born in the Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana. In 1993, I graduated with a diploma in Rural Art and Industry from the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. I am married and have a son. While working as a field coordinator for various international organizations, I became interested in helping artisans find a market for products they made from available rural/natural resources. Soon I realized that I truly enjoyed designing products and I began to create a wide variety of products based on my own designs. I pursued my interests and my products have been well-accepted, to the point that now there are 10 people doing on-the-job training with me in my workshop. I have participated in exhibitions in Frankfurt, Paris, and New York.'
