The story of the Kazak rug:
Kazak is an original Afghani design that was woven within that last three decades. These rugs are hand-knotted in the northern part of Afghanistan by the Uzbek and Turkoman women. These impeccable tribal pieces feature six predominate designs. The main colors are always various shades of terracotta and blue. The all-natural vegetable dyes are made from roots, flower petals, and tree bark, giving this rug a natural look and the impression of significance.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design, weight, and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly. Tip: We recommend the use of a non-skid pad to keep the rug in place on smooth surfaces. We also recommend professional cleaning
