• Central section of each strand features pearls colored with a deep, smoky purple interspersed with small round silver beads

Story Behind the Art:

AsiaEXP works with local artisans across Asia to share their tradition-steeped crafts with the world. Jewelry is made in a family-operated studio run by two brothers in the mountainous jungle region of northern Thailand. One brother purchases gemstones from around the world while the other designs jewelry and works with artisans. The artisans are local hill-tribe women who use the proceeds of their work to attend school and support their families while sustaining their traditional way of life.
