I purchased this table to complete the look of the two- and three-drawer reclaimed teak tables that were excellent in craftsmanship and appearance. The round one-drawer reclaimed teak table does not measure up to the quality of the other tables. Its hardware matches that of the other tables, and the wood is similar to that in the four-drawer table -- though not as nicely finished. The reclaimed nature of the wood is a little more apparent. The wood is less closely matched to that of the three-drawer table, which has more contrast of light and dark, even in the same piece of wood -- almost like natural shesham wood that I have seen. There are a few minor blemishes on the top of the round table. The most evident deficiency in craftsmanship is in the fit of the drawer. Although it is made of solid wood, the front of the drawer is not quite high enough to fill the space. Further, one side of the opening for the drawer was not smooth. A few grains of wood extend almost like whiskers beyond the cut. There were two chips in the bottom of the sides of the drawer. These are not visible unless the drawer is removed. The table as a whole arrived well packaged. However, the drawer was not specially secured. The chipping may have occurred during shipping. I am wondering if the table was a second or a returned item. As already pointed out, nail heads on the bottom of the top of the table can be seen if one looks under the table. They are not normally visible. I could chalk this up to the primitive construction of the table. I am keeping the table, because the defects other than the poor fit of the drawer are not very noticeable in the corner of the room where I have placed it. I could recommend the table only to complete the look of the other reclaimed teak tables of better construction and finish.

The online picture is deceiving. The table I received was crude (or "rough") in overall appearance and construction. The maker used wood filler to close visible gaps where the three legs join the lower support. A quick look underneath the table revealed visible nail heads. The drawer itself did not have a finished look or quality to it. The maker also used wood filler to overcome imperfections in the table surface. In my view, even with the solid teak materials, the crude nature of construction is not worth the price - I returned this product immediately.
