Designed and carved by K. Gambo in Accra, Ghana. He is skillful in the use of color and creating unusual wall hangings. Gambo is a graduate of K. Forson¿s workshop. He does very high quality work. He supports a family of five with the income from his business. As he grows his business with African Heritage Collection, he expects to expand his shop to begin developing new carving talent himself.

The statue was overwhelmingly larger in person than I expected. The piece has some weight to it and the carvings are just magnificent! This is NOT a machine made piece; and for the price, without question, it's a bargain!
