The Ashanti love bench was handcrafted by R. Ashawn in Kumasi, Ghana. He is an artist and designer who translates his ideas into unique and practical applications. He employs over 20 artisans, of whom he personally trained in his carving shop. He has developed many more who have graduated and created their own businesses. Lift the door to reveal a large storage space.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design, weight, and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.

This little bench came fully assembled and packed carefully. I love the designs that have been hand carved and finished. It looks good where I have placed it by my front door to receive my grandchildren's shoes as they come inside.
This bench was a great addition to my collection of African decor items. It is authentic and the size is just right. The storage compartment was an extra plus.
