When I first took this out of the box, I thought the color's not as vivid as what's in the photo... But as I'm looking at it more closely, there's a fine coating of dust on it, from all of the carving. The work on this piece is amazing. I'm going to have to pick up some lemon oil. I'm sure that'll bring more of the color out.. It really is a wonderful value. I'm guessing that the beads on the ring at the bottom are also hand-carved and hand painted. At first I thought Fimo, but it's definitely not.. I'd definitely recommend this one. It's very unique and substantial!!!
This mask is awesome! I can't believe how huge it is! Not only in length and in width, but in depth too. Beautiful craftsmanship. I got the orange/brown one. The colors are lighter than they appear on the picture. But I like it that way even better actually. And I can't believe the price! Thank you overstock!

This African mask was my 6th one purchased from Overstock and by far the BEST. This mask is HUGE!!! The craftsmanship is outstanding & characteristics of the mask are awesome! I've never seen ANY mask like this one. The profile is REALLY unique. I loved it so much, that I bought one for my son and his wife for Christmas. It came shipped in a very protective wrap. The overall aesthetic value is "priceless." If you are into African art, you will love this mask. I would highly recommend it.
