Product Features
In a small town along the Central coast of Viet Nam, Le Anh Phi and her family as well as a small group of additional artisans have been perfecting the at of handcrafted bamboo items for many years. This trade has been passed down for several generations. By expressing their creative talents through the art of bamboo, it allows these artisans to earn a living outside of the traditional means of farming. Her children are gradually learning the process and when she no longer chooses to run the business, it will then be passed on to them.

Looks Great. Have to put something heavy in it so that it will not tip over.
I am so pleased to own this vase which I use continuously. It looks great with a variety of floral arrangements and is a focal point of interest in my living room. I was easily able to locate a glass insert so that this vase becomes even more versatile for dried or fresh flowers. It can also be a stand alone piece as the design of the vase is interesting in its own right. The choice of colors are wonderful and I selected the orange which is vibrant. Furthermore, since it is bamboo, it is lightwieight but sturdy and environmentally sound, so it becomes the perfect vase on many levels. I have been so delighted with it that I sent it as a gift to my friend who was ecstatic.

When I received my vase the top had been broken off and glued back on. The line is not only obvious, it is the focal point of the dark ( not lime) green vase that will now sit in the back of a closet until I throw it out.
