I have to admit that I was disappointed when I got these in the mail and they were flat on one side. Overall they were not what I expected.

I originally saw these a year ago and couldn't decide if they were worth the price, so when I saw the great reviews I decided to give them a shot. I bought fours sets: 2 for myself and 2 for gifts. I have to say that I am a little (but not enough to return them) dissapointed in them. When you see them in the box they don't look all that nice and it is really difficult getting them out of the plastic holder that they are in. But they did have a nice sparkle when held up to the light, so I think that with Christmas lights behind them they will look great. I do like that they come in all different sizes, but I won't be able to use all of them on the Christmas tree as a few are too big and others are too small. But they will look very pretty hanging on a garland draped on the mantel. I wasn't too thrilled with the packaging: the box smells really musty and it leaves a gritty oily feel on your hands and the ornaments. I think that before I give them as gifts I'm going to clean them with glass cleaner and find different packaging. I have never had a problem with shipping from overstock and not one icicle was broken.

I found these here at Overstock.com right after last Christmas and was kicking myself because I didn't look at this website before the holidays. I'd checked month after month praying that they would still be available in the fall. About late summer I'd forgotten to keep looking when it hit me that I hadn't checked in for a couple of months.Lo and behold when I looked 1 week ago they were still there at an even lower price than before. Next I was hoping that they were as beautiful as pictured and most importantly, that they got to me in one piece.So when they finally got here, boy was I happy. They were EVERYTHING that they we described and more.The artistry is wonderful and they will go perfectly with by holiday decorating scheme which is mostly clear glass ornament to reflect the lights on the tree. They look so realistic and I can barely wait for the holidays. I wasn't disappointed with this purchase and you won't be either.

These icicles look amazing, just like the real thing. Very delicate and unique. I don't like the copper wire but I suppose I'll use hooks or fishing line to hang them. I ordered two boxes and did not have any broken ones. All arrived safe and sound. If well taken care of I can see these on my tree for years to come and passed down to the next generations.

I am so pleased with this purchase. These look like real icicles. I love the way they catch light when I hold them up. I can't wait to use them on the Christmas tree next year. I know they will be a beautiful addition.

These ornaments are so adorable!! The look exactly like real icicles. I have not actually had a chance to put them on the tree since I bought them after Christmas but can't wait until next year. If you are on the the fence try them they are great.

I absolutely love these! They were gorgeous on my vintage Christmas tree, but would be a great addition to any tree. They positively sparkle with the tree lights. And I love that they are recycled and fair trade. These will now be a Christmas tradition in our house.

I bought these last year for a gift but when I saw how pretty they were, I couldn't resist keeping them. I hung them up for the first time this year and they look great. Unfortunately 1 long icicle came with the bottom third of it broken off. Also you have to attach the thin copper wires that are included in the box. Mine didn't come with enough so I used some regular ornament hooks. Otherwise, the packaging and the ornaments are pretty and high quality. I see the price has jumped since I bought them. I was thinking of getting another box but will wait until there's a coupon...

Although I purchased for use on the Christmas Tree, once I received them I thought: how fun they would look hanging over the fireplace, attached to the garland. This idea came once I saw them in person; they appear really lifelike and have the same glisten as if they were from outside!

WOW!.. These are beautiful. I am using them on centerpiece arrangements for my daughters "Sweet Sixteen Snow Ball". They are just what we wanted.

If you've ever seen real icicles and felt like licking them, you will love these glass versions. They look so delicate and catch the light in their uneven surfaces, but hanging look very realistic. They are all clear and some even have have tiny bubbles in them. They are a bit flattened out, so do not expect cylindrical icicles. These look breathtaking when hanging and I can imagine them gracing my tree and windows this Christmas. Packaging: I bought 2 sets and they came in a pretty lime-green colored box that is suitable for gifting with only a decorative ribbon if you can get yourself to gift them to someone. (Am buying another 2 sets for giving away.) Carefully packaged without a trace of musty odor or anything and included copper wires that you have to thread through the tiny holes on top yourself. Obviously handcrafted from start to finish.

I LOVE these!! I've been looking at them for a while and finally broke down and ordered some... I will deffinately be ordering more for gifts this Christmas! They are truely lovely. I may not have even given them a second glance had they not been recycled material, but I'm so glad they are - makes them that much more wonderful. Can't wait to see our tree with these on it this year!

I bought this for friends that decorate every room of their house. I am sure that when the "icicles" are hung they will look fantastic. They look like real icicles but it is hard to see how spectacular they are by just looking in a box. I thought that they were a little expensive but I would buy them again.

I ordered two sets, and now wish I'd ordered more. They are sized from extravagantly long to minicicle. The flow and freeze of real icicles was captured perfectly by these artisans. They look as though they were snapped off the eaves of a little cabin in a snowy forest. My holiday guests said they'd never seen anything like them. I had noticed that a previous reviewer did not love the copper wire lengths that were intended to be used as do-it-yourself hangers. I put the wires in the crafts drawer and used shiny silver premade hooks. I would give their appearance 6 stars!

Love these icecycles. This is the second time I have purchased them. I bought 2 sets both times. They look so real hanging on the tree. The wires take a long time to apply but the work is worth it and it only has to be done once and then they are ready year after year. Will possible buy more if there don't seem to be enough on my trees!
