Our photo screen is handmade by artisans in the south of China. This screen features a unique design which allows you to display twelve 5 x 7 photos. The photo screen is made of solid Ramin wood and comes complete with bi-fold hinges to allow for maximum flexibility in your display. Each photo holder is covered to ensure protection.
The Story Behind the Product
This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China and run by a wonderful family that we here at Overstock.com have befriended over the course of several years. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The workers always seem to be smiling and are often excited to have new visitors. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff (my stomach can attest to this), the workers' clothes are clean and the environment seems organized and well run. Attending strictly to the local and international anti-dumping and fair trade practice laws, Oriental Homes is proud to bring a piece of their culture into your home.

I like the screen. I got it to hide my hot water heater in my basement bathroom. And well, since I didn't really measure the top of the hot water heater, I just assumed it would cover it. It falls short, but that is my own fault. I think the biggest challenge is picking the right pitures for the 12 frames!

I have purchased many items from Overstock. This one I was highly disappointed in the quality of the finish. The wood had many dents and the finish was poorly applied.

The screen is wonderful. It is just as i expected it to be. Once pictures are in it, it takes on a whole new look.

The only problem I had was that the screws were loose and I had to re-assemble the screen. It was difficult, it just would not stand up until I did.

I am enjoying seeing my five grandchildrens' pictures each and every day. When my friends come to visit they are very intrigued with this screen. It enhances our living area in a positive way and we are certainly satisfied with our purchase. The price is right and there is no assembly because it comes in one piece. I highly recommend this to anyone.
