The bench is really pretty. Did not have to assemble so that was great. I really wanted something functional to actually sit on it. Not happening. Too small. If you want something decorative - great. Something functional - not!

this stool is really NOT made for sitting OR resting one's feet. I would classify this as more of a decorative piece. The latter should be a part of the description. It creaks when sat on (medium-sized male), and your heels get numb if resting on it too long (and it creaks). BUT, it is pretty! I will use it as decoration. Lastly, 20 inches is aLOT shorter than I measured...... OH! There was no assembly required.
