The Story Behind the Art

In the HeNan province of China, almost everyone knows how to carve jade. HeNan is located in central China and is historically famous for its unique jade productions and art. Jade carving is a traditional skill that has been passed down for generations. Most families have a jade carving workshop in their home. A coordinator gathers orders and then assigns them to artists in town. At the end of the day, they gather the completed pendants and pass them along to the coordinator to fulfill the orders. Jade carving is what the town relies on to make a living. The artists hope you will help them keep their traditional art form alive as well as proving them with a living.

The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in color and sizing. Subtle shade variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements are approximate.

This is the second one of these bracelets I have purchased. I bought the first one for my husband and he loved it. The jade piece in the middle broke and he was really mad cause he loved the bracelet so I ordered him another. The second one we ordered broke within like a week of recieving it. The jade was too thin and easily broken. It actually broke for no reason at all the second time, which leads me to believe the first time was not really our fault either. Don't buy this item unless you want a broken bracelet in a couple of days, not worth the $$ for something that breaks so easily.

This bracelet can fit any size wrist. The craftsmanship is detailed and intricate. It can be worn with an elegant outfit, or with jean & a t-shirt. It's very versatile.

Pretty but priced high for what it is. Jade is white, not green at all but the carving is nice. Niece really into this type of jewelry, so I gave it to her. She loves it, but she did not pay for it. If you really love oriental jewelry and must have it, then I say buy it because the workmanship is OK.

This my second bracelet a little different in style .... I broke the first one so that is wht I was so egar to replace the bracelet .... but when I got it I could only open one side of the bracelet so it's hard to slip on .... so becareful .... I had a jade necklace the samething the opening didn't slide right and the string in that just came apart ....
