'As a child, I would paint and absorb images from all the fashion magazines I could get my hands on. I wanted to pursue this love of fashion, and took a course in merchandising. Thereafter, I had the opportunity to work for Tarun Tahiliani, India's premier designer. I was thrilled. When I married in 2007, I had to make the move to a small city called Ghaziabad. Going to Delhi became difficult, and this became my chance to do something of my own. I decided to create exquisitely handmade bags because it was something different, and not many people have done it yet. I find inspiration in my home country. Beautiful things in India's colorful market fuel our work. This I mix and match with experiences and with everything I see around me to create original designs.'
