Story behind the item:

Their work having been exhibited throughout Peru and in other countries, Manuel 'Manolo' Morales Polar and his colleague, Luis 'Lucho' Donayre Orme'o have produced, and helped produce, some of the finest examples of Peruvian artisanship. In the Feria Habitad in Venice, Italy, people were surprised to see South American furniture designs. But Manolo and Lucho broke all preconceived ideas with their presentation combining a distinctive Peruvian look with the art of dedicated masters, all beautifully crafted by hand.
