This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Simply a beautiful piece, especially with some plants atop it. The piece I recieved differs slightly from the photo - but so what? It is unique and while small, quite functional. From the moment my daughter placed it in the kitchen, it has been the focal point of the room. The glass top is important so be sure to get it. There are no leveling feet so I had to use felt to balance out my rough tile floors - that is why I gave it a four star for workmanship - although I am glad it doesn't have levelers. I lived in China for years and it reminds me of 'home'. Buy it and enjoy it. We do.

The cabinet came preassembled and packaged well. No scratches or dents etc. The glow of the gold makes the cabinet an accent or focal piece for ANY room. Quality of the painting makes it look like it came from times when real pride in workmanship prevailed. I am more than satisfied.

This is a beautiful piece. It is not as heavy as I thought. The cost that I paid should have been less. The art work is beautiful. All in all it is beautiful.

This cabinet arrived without a scratch and is lovely. (The other piece of furniture that was a part of the same delivery was damaged in three places and a piece of the fiberboard cannot even be glued back on--two different experiences. ONe perfect and the other very compromised)
