Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. Today both men and women hand-weave magnificent and unique hammocks with colors and patterns created by our design department. This way we are able to fulfill our objective: to make a decorative article that will also provide a comfortable rest.

just love this hammock. Worried that the weather will ruin it though so i bring it in when its stormy. very relaxing place to end the day!

I love this piece. The material and construction is first class. The color is fantastic and the size is more than generous. It fits great on our back deck and guests can't get enough of it.
This hammock is the work of a true craftsperson. Beautiful and comfortable. The construction is exquisite and needless to say I am very pleased with my purchase. FYI: delivery will take longer than expected as, from what I understand, they are made to order, by hand, in mexico. You can be assured they are most certainly worth the wait.
I'd order this again. It's very well constructed and plenty big enough. I was surprised it came in such a little box and was afraid it'd be mangled and tangled. But it was packaged very carefully and didn't need a big box since there is no bar. My husband wasn't crazy about no bar because it kind of falls close to you, but if you adjust you can be comfortable in it. I love having no bar. It gives you more workable space and it doesn't flip you out before you're ready, like the ones with bars do. Nice color. We put it under a porch so it doesn't get weather damage. If it was real windy and raining we'd bring it in. Since there's no bar, that too will be a cinch, and we can store it easily until the weather permits putting it back out.
