"My name is Danai Leosawathiphong. I was born March 20, 1949 in northern Thailand. My grandfather was a Chinese immigrant from the Canton province. He immigrated to Thailand at the end of the 19th century when he was in his early twenties. He was a very hard working person and set up a business by the Ping River. He traded goods all along the river and during that time he met my partner's grandfather."

I usually order a live orchid for my Mom on Mother's Day. I was interested when I found this "everlasting" orchid pin. An actual live orchid bloom is cast in resin and nicely attached to a gold stickpin. The flower is slightly irregular - as in real life, however, the colors are as vivid as the day it was harvested. I ordered one for my mother, will likely get a few more orchid varieties to have on hand as gifts. This is a good value.

I got this because I was looking for a purple stick pin and this was just so beautiful. It is more beautiful in person than in the picture. It comes in a presentable box. I thought it would take a long time to be shipped from Thailand but it was here within two weeks! I can't to offer this to my Mom she's going to love it!

It did took a couple of weeks to receive this product. Very lovely piece, Honestly, I dwould think twice about paying this price if I saw it at the store. But, overall it is beautiful and I am keeping it.
