Oriental alabaster has been crafted in Egypt since ancient times, into works of art and utilitarian items. Handcrafting alabaster continues to be an art among many artisans. Our artisans, despite working with limited and dated equipment, are able to turn out wonderful items, relying on their hand/eye coordination and skill.

What is Worldstock?

Alabaster products are manufactured by hand, using alabaster from every commercial quarry in Egypt. Alabaster is a natural, translucent marble which can vary in color from a clear lemon color to a rich shade of mango orange or even a very light cafe au lait. Each piece will be unique and variation from the photo should not be considered a flaw.
