'My father worked in the first hand-blown glass workshop in the area as well as an internationally known glass workshop, and through this experience he mastered his craft and gained the knowledge to start his own factory 44 years ago.

'When we were young we helped him create glass works and in the process learning about the intricacies of silica sand and mixing colors. We now specialize in etched pieces made from pure silica sand glass. Everything we do is completely handmade.'

What is Worldstock?

Due to the handmade nature of the item, the dimensions may vary as much as +/- 1.5 cm (0.6 inches); occasionally it is necessary to adjust the base so it grasps the mask tightly. Slight variations in weight, hue and veins may be noticed, as well as air bubbles trapped within the glass--all evidence of the traditional technique that attest to its uniqueness.
