Story Behind the Art:

'Hi, I am Osiel Korevaar. I sculpt in soap stone, a very soft material found here in Brazil. I became acquainted with soapstone in 1992, I was immediately enchanted with its texture and beauty, and learned to sculpt it. Everything I have achieved has been through this work. It is my dream to build a business offering only soapstone articles. I believe that through Novica, this dream is already coming true.'
