Story Behind the Art:

Sarla Soni was born and raised in Rajasthan, India. When she married, they moved to Jaipur. 'Since childhood I've had a knack for art, and I often indulged in sketching and drawing as a hobby. When I got married to an artist, my interest surfaced again, and I saw myself in the beautiful and mesmerizing world of art. I found myself mesmerized by colorful gemstones and I thought I could make something beautiful with them. My husband, N. K. Soni, now paints on glass and I decorate with gemstones.'
