The Story Behind the Product
This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. I just received my new Geisha lamp yesterday and am thrilled to death with it. It is very beautiful and, like an earlier reviewer said, very pretty when the only light in a darkened room. I think it's even prettier than the picture. This is significant, since I'm not very easy to please. I wish they had more prints to choose from, I would buy more!

If you want a piece for decorative purposes with an asian flare - this is it! It's very pretty when the only light on in a darkened room. This lamp is delicate - I wouldn't recommend it for a child's room. I have an asian theme in my bedroom and I love it.

but worth the price. The colors are very pretty. I was able to use them
for the place I had in mind. I bought the black one to use on a black laquer china desk. Very pretty accessory.
