Handmade Opium Table (India)

This coffee table is perfect and looks exactly as it does in the photo. It is solid wood with clean, simple design. The size is just right - big enough to be functional but doesn't fill up the room. The finish is deep, beautiful and highly polished. In fact, my cat leaped onto the table and went sliding off the other side. The table was delivered very quickly. The price is a bargain and the rustic design perfectly complements my Oriental rugs.

The table arrived very quickly with no damage from shipping. I was impressed with the careful packing that ensured safe arrival. I recently purchased a large living room sectional with ottoman. I wanted a small coffee table that could share space in front of long section with the ottoman. This table is exactly what I needed. The warmth of the rosewood and the natural wood grain is gorgeous. The table is well constructed and solid, yet light weight enough to move easily when needed. The only flaw in workmanship is on top of the table where the inlay was set. The seam could have been sanded more smoothly in some places, but this does not diminish the beauty of the table. It is the only thing that keeps it from being absolutely perfect.

I'm not the sort of person that often takes the time to write reviews on my purchases, but I just received my table and it more than surpassed my expectations, so I felt the need to offer my opinon. I love natural wood and all the different variations it shows and this table is a perfect example. It is very solid and well made. It is a simple design that lets the wood speak for itself. It comes fully assembled and mine arrived in perfect condition. If you like simple, classic design and the patina of natural wood furniture you can't go wrong with this table. I recommend it highly.
