The ottoman is hollow. There is nothing inside; therefore, any weight will create a dent in the middle. Trying to smooth the surface is challengin. The workmanship is great but it more of a show piece rather than a practical one.

I've never seen a HOLLOW ottoman. This piece is reminds me of a drum with a week support system. It's flimsy and looks cheap. Forget about any practical application, the moment you put your feet on it, they sink down because the whole inside of it is AIR. A beach ball is more appealing than this. And also, unless you are extremely petite, this "ottoman" will seem like a large ugly fruit. I'm very very disappointed from this product.
