I had seen these elseware for alot more. was worried that they would be flimsy. but they are perfect plus there huge they cover my sliding glass door which is what I wanted for privacy. love the lacy look .they have a slight oder when you first unwrap them.I think it is the stain they use. but it went away after a few days. love my new sceen

I had wanted to put a bathroom in my basement for years, but I did not want to take up the space by enclosing it with a wall.But this year was going to be special. My family and I had joined an exercise club that had a little club inside just for children. They loved the games and the Wii, so I decided to get them a Wii and a new tv, and install them in the basement. I had the commode and sink installed in a corner of the basement. It stood out like a sore thumb! I had just about resigned myself to building an ugly wall when I got your email containing this beautiful screen! I immediately ordered one, hoping it would get here by Christmas. It arrived in plenty of time. I went to the hardware store and bought some cup hooks and some dowels. I hated to cover up the beautiful design, but I screwed in the cup hooks in each panel and made curtains which I strung onto the dowels. I placed the dowels into the cup holders on each of the panels. Gorgeous! The forest green curtains against the dark brown lacey wood is absolutely beautiful!The curtains are on the inside facing the bathroom. From the basement looking toward the bathroom, all one sees is this beautiful, intricately carved piece of art.I could not be more happy with my new screen. It is extremely sturdy, and made quite a hit on Christmas morning.

This Jali lends a very ethnic and exotic look to my family room. Overall very happy with this product, and my friends/family love the look! Just a few comments/warnings: it is a very sturdy and heavy piece of furniture, therefore have someone help you carry it out of the box and help stand it up for you. I tried to move it myself when i took it out of the box and it almost made me topple over; it is very oily and the stain rubs off on your hands, therefore wear some gloves and clothing you don't mind getting dirty when handling this jali; last, it has a strong gasoline-type scent, I let the jali "air" for a day before I set it up in my family room, this may not be a concern for many but one of my visiting friends was sensitive to smells and complained of a headache when she had been sitting next to it for a while. Overall-- I thought the price was good enough for this exotic and well-made product. Some other sites I had checked out were selling similar pieces for a lot more.
