Crafted from hand glazed porcelain this Elephant lamp stands 22-inches tall and comes with a Bell shaped fabric shade. Craftsman in China have used their age old skills in porcelain ware to create this enchanting design.

The Story Behind the Product

This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Attending strictly to the local and international anti-dumping and fair trade practice laws, Oriental Homes is proud to bring a piece of their culture into your home.

We just recieved this lamp after only two days of waiting. The lamp exceeded our expectations by far and is the center piece of our bedroom. It has a cherry wood base which give it an air of formality and elegance. The attention to detail is excellent making this lamp a wonderful addition to any room. Colors are true to picture....We are truly happy with this purchase and would recomend this lamp to anyone that would like a quality and outstanding piece added to their decor .

I purchased two of these for each side of a fireplace. The lamps are classy looking with a crackle finish. Colors are true to photo. The shade is nice as well. It takes a three-way up to 100 watt bulb. The elephant is slightly off-center of the base in both of them, but not terribly noticeable. I am happy with this purchase and pleased with the impact of these little lamps in the living room.
