Our Feng Shui Shoji screen is handmade by artisans in the south of China. This classic room divider is offered with a choice of a red or black hand woven fabric. Each panel boasts ancient Chinese calligraphy and is framed in black. The Feng Shui screen is double hinged for maximum flexibility for positioning. The screen will block all light for maximum privacy.
The Story Behind the Product
This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Attending strictly to the local and international anti-dumping and fair trade practice laws, Oriental Homes is proud to bring a piece of their culture into your home.

the screen was of poor quality and the color was not the shade of red shown in the picture. expensive for what it was and i returned it for a cost of $55.00.

The screen is very beautiful and I have only one complaint. The fabric on the screen has a pretty big ripple/crease but it's not "that" visible. It was not enough to go through the trouble of taking in back. But all in all I am very happy with the screen. It was shipped perfectly and in a very timely manner. I would recommend overtock.com to anyone. They're great!
