The Story Behind the Product:
Chinese ceramic stools date back to the Ming dynasty. Our garden stools are 100-percent handmade by high fire process. The color of glaze will not fade or change. They function as an extra seat, foot rest, small table, plant stand, cocktail table, etc.
Made in Jingdezhen (Jingde Town). It has been termed the 'Porcelain Capital' because of its production of quality china. It has a 1700-year-old history of china production. There are thousands of workshops in Jingdezhen, generation after generation.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.

This stool is gorgeous, it came well packed and flawless. I do think these stools are a bit overpriced, but this one in particular is more like a piece of art than anything, so it's worth more in my opinion. I would buy again!
Received the first stool, beautiful color, but it was in about 500 pieces. Received the second stool and refused to accept the package because we could hear it was shattered into pieces. The outer box was in perfect condition both times. When we opened the first stool the packaging consister of 4 thin pieces of styrofoam, perhaps 1/2 inch thick, and that was all there was. I find it hard to believe that anyone received this stool in good condition if they were packed as the ones we received. I would not order another one of these stools under any circumstances. What a disappointment - a real disaster.
This beautiful stool arrived a few days after I had placed the order.It was well packed.I was looking to get the similar porcelain table to coordinate with the stools so that I can use it as a patio set.I have noticed these porcelain stools and tables being used outdoors during my travels,They look lovely as a set.I am waiting for Overstock to get them as a set so that I can purchase an entire set for my patio.Very good product.

This is the third Chinese stool I have purchased from Overstock and, have been delighted with all of them. However, this one is the most stunning yet! The colors are deeper and more vivid than appear in the photo. I love, just to stand and look at it, as it gives me a happy feeling ... it is so cheerful! I bought it to put in the garden, but, haven't been able to part with it, to put it out in the weather. I may have to choose another one for that purpose. You will be delighted with this gorgeous Chinese stool. They are all so functional and versatile ... and, are a steal at their price. Imagine what you would ordinarily pay for shipping alone ... on these with their sturdy weight. Thanks once more, Overstock!
I just ordered my second stool because I was so pleased with the first. It is even prettier than the picture and looks great in my living room. It is very heavy and seems quite sturdy. Wonderful accent piece.
