Story Behind the Art:
These items are made in a small studio in Tivon, Israel. The studio is owned by Avihu Zur, a master craftsman, painter, organic farmer, gourmet chef, and father of five. Avihu's studio employs many talented jewelers, including Bedouin women who come from nearby Arab villages. Avihu is known for his pioneering and superior quality craftsmanship with glass jewelry and sells to fine galleries on four continents. The silver used in this jewelry is 90-percent recycled. The 2000 year old glass shards are also recycled.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.

I just received this necklace yesterday, along with earrings that are the same. The necklace is fantastic! It is really heavy. It feels really luxurious on I think because of the weight of it, it is the perfect length, not very long at all, so the pendant part sits perfectly on the collar bone. It seems to shift around a little bit though, so I have been having to slide it back over, but it's worth it because it's so beautiful.
