To create this design, Paul Lopez works in fine baby alpaca - the wool from the year's first shearing
Dry clean or hand wash

Story Behind the Art:

Paul Lopez says, 'I was born in Cuzco, and my parents are pioneers in the field of knitted textiles. I grew up amid art and wool while my parents invented new ways to create beautiful alpaca wool fashions.

'I eventually went off to Lima to study, where I decided to major in fashion design. Thanks to my family, I was able to travel to London after graduation, where I specialized in fashion design at the Marangoni Institute, a renowned fashion design school.

'I returned to Peru and worked at creating a new line of clothing. My goals are the same as my parents, to create art with fine wool and to provide jobs for the people of my town.'
