Customer Reviews
This jewelery box far exceeded my expectations, and arrived in perfect condition. It is huge, and lined with a very nice chinese brocade fabric. The hand painting is exquisite. Two of the drawers have dividers, the rest are undivided-which is perfect if you have many huge multistrand heavy gemstone necklaces-I have had a terrible time getting necklaces to fit into standardized compartments, and am tired of hanging them from a hook in the closet. This jewelry box is the perfect solution. I also consider it to be an extraordinary value, and am flabergasted that anyone wouldn't realise that quality such as this deserves fair compensation. It IS hand-painted. And the wood IS wood, throughout the entire piece. I actually pulled out the drawers, looked at the joinings, etc. to be certain. It is very well made.I also had no problems fitting my rings into the ring slots-not even my largest ring, which has a 8mm wide band , and is a size 10. If you are hoping to hang necklaces from the hooks inside the door, I must honestly say that those are more suited to bracletts, or chokers. But the undivided drawers are HUGE, and can each fit 4-6 large chunky multistrand necklaces with no problem.
When I received this jewelry box via FedEx, one of its feet was broken off. Probably just as well, as the quality of this box is not worth the price. The box is much duller than in the photos, and the painting is not great. The broken foot also revealed that the box is made of a "wood-like" substance. Had I paid $50, I would have kept it, but for over $150, it goes back. Having said all of that, I will continue to shop at Overstock.com. It doesn't seem to have been their fault.

I purchased this more to go with my decor and because it was bigger than my current broken box. I would like to have know that the drawers did not have any dividers. They are not suitable for earring storage. The ring section is not designed/made for larger rings or wide band rings and is "stiff" not soft. The large drawer configuration is not suitable for my treasures, but that is a personal choice. I do wish additional views were available on the site, but most likely would have purchased because it matched my room decor.
