Thanks, to all the previous reviewers. I knew what I should expect. And I got it! I wanted a small Indian casket, which included elephants in the motif and made in a PRIMITIVE manner, a technique that is reminiscent of the 4th century B.C.E.(thin metal applied to wood). I shall stain it a bit more (to age it) and place it in my Alexander the Great, style bedroom amid all the museum replicas. However, I gave it a poor rating because, it is not fit for normal, ordinary use. For decorative use only.

The dimenions is listed as 11in x 7in x 6 it's actually half that size. It's a beautiful jewlry box but it's really small.

I was so excited about ordering this item. The picture looks like a good solid metal jewelry box with nice workmanship. The actual item is some sort of cheap wood with tarnished metal pasted onto it. The metal is even peeling away at the sides. When you open it up the insides have some sort of lining which looks like the lowest quality and dirtiest faux fur attainable. I wouldn't take this item from the free bin at a garage sale, much less pay over $50.00 for it. Ignore the picture and take my advice: skip this trash. As bad as my review sounds, the actual item is five times worse.
