Double Face Sioux Floor Lamp (Colombia)

This is such a unique lamp, I just had to have it. I was a bit confused at first with the construction but after I figured it out, it was a snap. I too had a problem with one of the sockets. I had no problem with the first socket but it took thirty minutes just to get the bulb screwed into the second socket. Finally I got it in and it worked fine. I've had many compliments and I like it so well, I just ordered another.

Great ambiance to the room. Good conversation piece. Glad I made the purchase.

I love this lamp! ! The artisans found a very unique way to craft an item that is not only a conversation piece, but a nice piece of artwork as well.

I love the look of this lamp! It is, however, definitely a two-person assembly job...at least for me. After struggling to get it together correctly, the lower light wouldn't work and I thought I would need to return it. I found out that it isn't a case of the sockets not working, but they don't work with every light bulb. Odd. Some bulbs work in them and some don't. And it wasn't a case of the bulbs being burned out or defective. Buyers might try different bulbs if they are having trouble with the lights. That worked for me and I didn't have to return the lamp. I am not recommending it only because of the socket situation.

I decided to take the chance of the lamp not working like several of the other reviews said. The lamp looks fantastic! There are a few spots on the white fabric but the look is so great that you don't notice it. The bottom fixture worked at first but then we put in another bulb so the top and bottom would match and neither work now. Hoping to just redo the wiring or adjust the fixture. The price is high for the electric part not working....but it does look amazing.
