They could have been a bad batch but they looked like one side had been dropped in dusty dirt during the time the finish was being applied and gave one side a dull lighter look. so turned that side of each away towards the wall.

My candle sticks are beautiful! They each have a small amount of sap wood and appear to be made as a pair. They match perfectly to each other. The carving was done with excellent detail. Great product

These candlesticks are fab. I just received them today and am delighted. I was fortunate enough to order the couple and love the detail. My kitchen is being remodled and my contractor was curious to see what I'd purchased this time. When he saw them he tried to buy them because I could order more. Since the couple candlesticks are all gone there was no way...these pretties are mine.
