Gray fabric is placed on large tables and attached to avoid movement. A thick coat of warm wax is poured on the surface of the table to help the placement of the dye into the fabric. Design gets divided in separate screens, were each color has its own screen. Screen gets paces on a rail on top of the fabric and as it travels on the length of the table, slides through the railing, the appropriate color gets it's placement. Sun drying process takes place on big bamboo structures overnight, and after the fabric returns to the table to received the next color. Next the cottons go in a series of water pools were the excess color gets removed and the fabric is softened so it can be worn. Tailors cut the patterns and the sewers are in charge of completing the garment. The unevenness of the prints or the wax stains or color marks are result and a part of this handmade process and a stamp of the hand crafted nature of this technique.

I really like the Kurta came in a small bag made from the same material of the blouse . I would recomended.
I recently purchased this top for my daughter who is quite picky about what she wears. I must say that she loves the top. It is well made, fits well and looks great! It is a big hit!
I got a small because it was the only one left and it fit-- I am usually a medium in one-piece items like this.Very comfortable and gives good coverage from the sun.Down sides-- not especially flattering fit- no darts to give it a shape. Also, hand washable, so maybe more work than you want to put into a beach cover-up.Overall very happy w/ it and got lots of compliments and no sunburn!
