'My parents worked in agriculture before turning to handicrafts. They opened a workshop in Chiang Mai, which I look after, and now they have another one in Bangkok. I have always been interested in handicrafts that are made from natural materials, so I observed and learned from magazines, books, television programs and everything around me. I started with textiles and, by 2000, I was transforming textiles into clothes and dresses. By late 2005 and the beginning of 2006, I was tooling leather handbags, which appealed to many people. All of my designs are about our Thai lifestyle. I adapt local styles with modern trends.'

This is an absolutely beautiful purse. I have gotten many comments on it. Lots of room inside for all your "stuff". The only reason I have given it four stars is that if you like to carry a purse on your shoulder, as I do, the handles on this are rather stiff and they just slide right off your shoulder.

This is a great bag! It is colorful and made very well with fabric swatches of various colors and leather straps. It is like a hippie bag--perfect for fall or even summer. I love it and think it is very cool.
The bag is exactly as pictured, and I'm very happy with it. It is unique, colorful, well-made, and perfect for everyday use. I'm only 5'2" tall and it's the perfect size for me. The straps are a little stiff, but I'm hoping that they will soften up in time.
I was very pleased with this handbag when it first arrived and it just keeps growing on me. I have bought many "handicraft" handbags from all over the world and this has quickly become one of my favorites. The materials (cloth, leather, beads) are of good quality and the craftmanship (stitching, leather tooling, beadwork) are excellent. The overall construction appears to be very durable. I would describe the size of the bag as a large purse or small tote. I am 5' 2" and the bag falls nicely from my shoulder - just above my hip. I have received numerous compliments on the appearance of the bag. At first I thought the leather handles were too rigid, but after only two days of use they softened and have kept a beautiful shape. Very good value for the price - very beautiful.
