I had ordered glasses made in Mexico several years ago and liked them so much that I ordered a second set and still use them today. I purchased these glasses for my daughter, who loves blue glass, thinking that they would at least be similar. But these glasses are no where near the quality of mine and aren't even blue. They have a green hue to them with a blue rim and are very odd looking. I'm very dissapointed and would return them except for the shipping costs.

Although the price seems a bit high, I really like these glasses. They are nice and heavy, but not too heavy. They feel good on the lips, if that makes any sense. The glass is thick and smooth. They have a genuine Mexican look.

Nice glasses that match the glasses I purchased from road side stands in Mexico. A little more narrow than the ones I purchased in Mexico. Heavy and true to their authentic cousins. Would certainly recommend as a compliment to like dinnerware and glasses.

the picture does not do these glasses justice. The craftsmanship is great, they are heavy and durable. Granted I feel more comfortable handwashing but I have put them into the dishwasher as well with no problems. I use them as every day glasses and they have been knocked together and fallen over without any chips or damage. The glasses appear to be a very lite green color with a cobalt blue rim, which I note because in the picture the body of the glasses appear to be clear. They look just as beautiful with my china as they do when serving a glass of orange juice in the morings.

....drinking from the many blue rimmed glasses you see at the nicer restaurants. Very nice, heavy, each one slightly different. My wife missed being in Mexico, so this helps relive the memories...

If there is a saving grace to these glasses, they look handmade. The glass has bubbles, the rim is sometimes smeared and uneven, the size of the glasses are not uniform. For the price, I don't think they are really worth it, but they are interesting glasses. Not bad enough for me to return, but I think you can find nicer glasses for the price.

Like other reader I have own similiar glasses for over 10 years and needed to replace some of them. The ones I have received from Overstock are absolutely great. They look good, they are really even made and most of all our friends just demand drinks in them ! They are dishwasher safe but you do not use harsh dishwasher detergent and use top rack just like recommended.

That's about what you could say about them-glasses. They're heavy,could be hand blown. There's not really much to say about them. I've seen a lot nicer Mexican made glasses. I would not buy more.

I have owned this particular glassware collection for over 20 years but have lost many pieces over the years. These are not easy to locate and are usually much more costly. These are not dishwasher safe and they do require extra care in handling. I love them, I love the look, I love the price!
