This set is handcrafted by Munira, an artisan from Delhi, India. Munira's collection of Indian jewelry is very unique and combines the styles of kings and queens from past periods of Indian history. She is proud of the fact that she is able to provide a good living wage and conditions to the artisans who work for her
Munira was born in Mumbai, Bombay, India. Her father was a paper merchant and had their shop in Sutar Chawl, which is the wholesale market for paper in Bombay. Munira was always fascinated by the markets and was always conscious of the latest fashions in jewelry and accessories. She tried her hand, at first, designing marriage ensembles for traditional Indian brides, before going into more trendy and modern jewelry.

The first set that I ordered was beautiful, but one of the stones was out of the earrings while still in the package. Overstock's great return policy got me a quick replacment . . . and I am now happily wearing this beautiful set. I get compliments on it every time I wear it! The stones are very well matched and the craftsmanship is wonderful.

This is a nice set, however, the necklace doesn't always lay flat. I imagine an extender would probably take care of that. The earrings are pretty big, so if you like jewelry that's somewhat understated, you won't like these. Overall, it's not a bad find
