Product Features:
• Sisal rug is ecologically friendly and perfect for high-traffic areas
• Accent rug made from sisal, a natural fiber from a cactus plant, found in Brazil, Africa and Asia
• Rug is woven in a boucle pattern for strength and durability

• Features a non-slip latex backing, so carpet pad is not needed
• Available in natural, charcoal, walnut and honey color options
Care:
• Vacuum regularly to keep sisal rug fresh. Make several passes in different directions. If the rug is in a dry or low humidity area: Frequent, light and even applications of water from a spray bottle or damp cloth will strengthen the natural fibers and enhance the wearing qualities (do not saturate). The moisture will tighten up the carpet fibers as they dry. Vacuum before dampening the rug to remove excess dirt.
Story Behind the Art:

This handcrafted item and many others come from a third generation family-run factory in mainland China. Their skills of hand-painting, hand-rubbed lacquering, and hand-tooling have been passed down for many generations. Many artists are hired out of semi-retirement to work from home, training the next generation as master craftsmen. Their craft and culture have survived many Chinese dynasties.

The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.
