'Chai' Roman Glass Crystal Bead Necklace (Israel)

Well, this necklace rating is heavily dependent on my personal taste...so someone else may think differently. 2 stars for Value: The necklace has a good story behind it, and I enjoyed the symbolic meaning of it. However, I would say it was over priced. The chain seemed cheap and the necklace only came in a plastic bag without any indication of the story behind its manufacture, its construction, and the material the necklace was made of. The story behind the necklace should be highlighted! 2 stars for Appearance: I loved the picture of the necklace on the website and bought it as a gift for my wedding singer. But, when I received it...it was so small, the chain was really short and cheap seeming, and the symboic characters were not noticable unless you were looking specifically for them. I ended up not using it as the gift because it seems as though the piece came from a Quarter Machine. 3 stars for Workmanship: the actual pendant (although small and hard to read) is fairly made. I discounted the necklace because even though it is sold as a pendant...the chain is not very impressive. 2 stars Overall: I don't recommend this necklace. There are way better necklaces on this site for less money--I don't believe that the value matches the cost in this case!
