Story Behind the Art:

'Hello, my name is Ashis Kumar Biswas, and I was born on June 30, 1969, in Thakurnagar, West Bengal. My father was in the police force, and he would often be transferred to different districts within the state. This gave me the opportunity to learn about different cultures and traditions. It also meant I had to change schools every couple of years, which gave me the chance to make lots of friends.'
